Models can wear the clothing of their choice, including costumes chosen from The Waterville Opera House costume department. Each session begins with a series of quick 2–5 minute warm-up poses, followed by longer poses of 15–20 minutes. At the end of the session, participants are invited to share their drawings, and as a thank-you, models customarily choose several drawings of themselves to take home.
